01Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the AnimeNow app and website (the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who also accepts these Terms on your behalf.
03The service
AnimeNow lets you browse and stream anime and donghua episodes with subtitles and, where available, dubbed audio. The catalog, episode availability, video quality and features change over time and may vary by region. We may add, change or remove content or features at any time, and we do not guarantee that any particular title will remain available.
04Accounts
An account is optional for watching. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Give accurate information and do not impersonate anyone. You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your account.
05Community rules
Comments and profiles must be respectful. You agree not to post content that:
- harasses, threatens or hates on people or groups;
- is sexually explicit, violent or illegal, or involves minors in any sexual way;
- is spam, advertising, scams or links to malware;
- spoils plot points without using the spoiler tag;
- infringes someone else's rights or shares personal information about others.
We may remove content and restrict or ban accounts or devices that break these rules, temporarily or permanently. If you think a restriction is a mistake, you can appeal through the app.
07Ads & rewards
The free version of the Service shows ads. Some features let you watch an ad in exchange for ad-free time or other rewards. Rewards have no cash value. Using scripts, emulators, VPN tricks or other methods to obtain rewards fraudulently may result in the loss of rewards and account or device restrictions.
08Content & copyright
The AnimeNow name, logo, app design and software belong to us. Anime titles, artwork, characters and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the works available in the Service.
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: your contact details; the work you own; the title and episode concerned; and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them. We review valid notices promptly and remove infringing material.
You keep ownership of the comments you post, and you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display them in the Service.
09Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, download in bulk or redistribute content from the Service;
- reverse engineer, modify or create unofficial versions of the app;
- bypass ads, Premium checks, bans or other technical protections;
- access the Service with bots or other automated means, or overload our systems;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
10Third-party services
The Service works with third-party services such as Google Play, Google Sign-In, Google AdMob and Firebase. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or for ads shown by ad networks.
11Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available on every device.
12Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnimeNow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, or if we must do so for legal or security reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as Content & copyright, Disclaimers and Limitation of liability) will survive.
14Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated effective date, and tell you in the app if the changes are significant. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
